Step One When selecting a pineapple, choose one with fresh green leaves and a fragrant scent. Slice off the top and bottom of the pineapple. Then turn the pineapple upright on its base. |
Step Two Slicing vertically downwards, follow the curve of the pineapple to cut off the skin. Continue this all the way around the pineapple, being careful not to remove too much of the fruit. |
Cut into Chunks If you wish to cut the pineapple into chunks, cut the pineapple into four sections. Then, slice off the core. Once the core has been removed, cut the remaining fruit to desired size. |
Cut into Rings If you wish to cut the pineapple into round slices, slice the pineapple into rings. Remove the core from each with a paring knife or a small cookie cutter. |
