Inspired by her uncle who was an Interior Designer, Ms. Tate decided in third grade that, she too, wanted to pursue this career. She received her B.S. in Interior Design from Virginia Tech in 2004. While Ms. Tate enjoys all aspects of design – such as when something she designs on paper comes to life - her technical skills are her strongest asset. With a background primarily in healthcare interior design, Ms. Tate joined the HSI team to experience a new sector in the design field.
